After ten years of silence, I'm back. Since my first time backpacking in 2016 I've had the ride of my life. I found love, marriage, and family. I've worked harder than I thought possible, and burned down lives that no longer served me and family.
I've tried nearly every kind of life available to a human on this earth and I'm ready to share the best and worst of what I've learned about myself and the world.
I'm currently in Spain again. This time, with my wife, three sons, and my dog. I've been traveling most of the last three-ish years and it's felt like dozens of lifetimes since I last wrote on this blog.
I stopped writing when I fell in love because it felt like that was the end of the old me. A closed chapter.
Since then I've died and been reborn enough times to know myself a little better and I think what I've learned along the way needs to be reflected on and shared in a way that's true to who I am now.
I'm more interested in growth and reflection as I age and I hope the lessons I reflect on here will help someone else who has been lost and trying to find themselves.
